About

Art is a process that has long been a part of my soul journey. Without it I feel disconnected and for a long time I did not understand why. My spiritual life is so central to my existence that my unconscious had linked it to my art and allowed that to become the point of balance in my life. Art is the space where my guidance is strongest and I feel safe to break down the boundaries of spirit and my day to day life.
My artwork is intended as a healing message and the angels that come in, guide me and help me in my own healing journey Through my art I share this gift with others. The Reiki energy and the angelic energy create a healing base that is built up in layers of paint. I had often wondered why I painted in so many layers but now I understand that the layers hold the energy that becomes part of the vibration of the painting itself.
I am an artist and a teacher. I love working with people and my spirit resides in my art. It is a type of prayer that explores my world and opens me up to possibilities beyond the boundaries.
I am lucky enough to teach at a school that has the highest level of cultural diversity for an urban area in Australia. This means I never stop learning.I am currently working on my second mosaic artist in residency at Myuna farm (Kidd Road Dandenong). I initially worked with the the alternative setting Dandenong Learning Center Myuna to create a totem pole and am now working on a mosaic pathway with the Doveton Cluster (5 primary schools and 1 secondary school). I am completing my Masters of Education which focuses on Visual Literacy and its importance across the curriculum in this ever shrinking multiliterate world.
